Our hunters arrive the afternoon prior to their
first hunt, then settle in for a 5-star stay at El Cielo Lodge.
There, a host of late-day activities await. Take a shooting tour
through our onsite sporting clays range. Wet some lures in El
Cielo's 39 acre big bass lake, or refine your golf skills on our
newest regulation putting green, then test them against our personal
rendition of "the Island 17th," all just a chipper's
lob away from the lodge's front steps. You won't want to forget
your clubs.
The next morning, wake up to a hearty breakfast
before heading afield on a fully guided hunt. Another mouth watering
meal awaits your return as well as more fun and relaxation on
the club's facilities. You may also choose to go on an evening
duck hunt, or, with a little notice, can experience a "true-to-life"
pheasant shoot.
The El Cielo is truly a sportsman's paradise nestled
on the Garwood prairie approximately ninety miles west of Houston.
Our lodge, complete with dining and den area, has 11,500 sq. ft.
and sleeps thirty people. Each guest room is spacious and has
a private bath with at least double occupancy.
